What is it?
The clue is in the name : Big Blue Bus. It is a big blue double-decker bus for parties.
What is included in the price?
Party groups are taken on a tour of up to 4 bar and club
venues in an evening, three complimentary drinks, services of party hosts, pre
booked and pre paid entry to all bars and clubs, your driver and of course, The
One And Only Big Blue ready to party, complete with sounds, lights and loads
of atmosphere.
Who is it for?
Big Blue can seat up to 60 people.
……In fact anyone looking for a night out with a difference.
Where?
Big Blue operates in Bristol and Bath. Parties will be met by Big Blue and a party host at a specified venue.
Who are the staff?
Every trip includes a driver and at least one party host
who are there to assist you however they can.
Is there music?
Does the Pope wear a funny hat? Eight speakers, several amplifiers and a choice of CD’s, or bring along your favourites and we can get out the microphones for a bit of a sing a long. There is also lighting to finish the effect.
What are the minimum numbers?
The minimum number is 16 although if you have a smaller
group, just call to check if there is a trip running already.
Can we have exclusive use?
Yes, for groups of more than 35, otherwise you will have to
play nicely with whoever else is on the bus, but this is often what makes the best nights!
Can we drink on board?
Alcohol is not permitted on boad.
A bar serving proper drinks can be arranged for race days and certain functions.
Big Blue is a non smoking vehicle .
Do we need ID?
Bear in mind that you will be going to licensed venues and must be over 18. If you’re blessed with youthful looks, then bring some ID.
What can we wear?
Wear almost anything you want – feel free to dress or theme your evening – just let us know in advance so that we can warn the venues! Fellas - as long as your chest is covered up - fancy dress is positively encouraged.
However we must insist on no facial tattoos, sportswear, ripped jeans or scruffy trainers.
How do we book?
Call us on 0870 7705310. We’ll take down a few details, group size, dates etc. A deposit of £10pp is required to make a booking and payment in full is due two weeks in advance. We accept all major credit or debit cards and cheques. Following full payment booking confirmation will be sent to the group organiser. We do not issue individual tickets. Big Blue Party Hosts will have details of confirmed bookings with them on the evening.
Can you sort out Hotels and other Activities?
For any other night life, daytime activities or hotel
accommodation, please contact our recommended activity
organisers at Playaway Weekends.
Are there any other Terms & conditions?
Participants will be admitted onto the Big Blue Bus and in to the
host venues on the basis that they are deemed in suitable condition. Dangerous or unreasonable behaviour and or anyone overtly under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted. This judgement is at the discretion of staff on the evening and their decision is final. No refunds will be considered.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation between 8 and 14
days inclusive, 50% of the total booking value will be forfeited.
Cancellation between 0 to 7 days inclusive: 100% of booking value will be forfeited.
Timings, Personal Belongings, Venues, Damage
Please ensure that you
arrive at the specified meeting venue on time as other parties may be involved
on your tour booking. Refunds due to failure to attend on time will not be available.
Big Blue Bus reserves the right to change venues during the evening without prior notice and to arrange alternative means to move the groups from venue to venue.
Any wilful damage caused to the Big Blue Bus will be charged to the passengers involved.
Personal belongings can be left on the bus, but this is done at individuals own risk. Big Blue Bus cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to passengers belongings during the course of the evening.
